Description

This project was inspired by my childhood memories of playing card games with my grandparents. I combined my interest in patterns and face card designs with my fascination with cryptids. I started with Sasquatch as the King of Clubs and then expanded the series to include other creatures like Nessie, Mothman and the Kraken.

The overall design of these cryptid playing cards is influenced by the elegant and flowing lines of Art Nouveau. The color palette was chosen to give the cards an otherworldly and mysterious feel.
