Description
Penumbra Brewery is a company I created to showcase my logo and branding skills. I was inspired to create an aeronautical themed company by the local aeronautical industry and brewery scene.
The logo design for Penumbra Brewery draws inspiration from engineering sketches and was designed have a futuristic feel. For the labels and posters, I created technical illustrations and designed elements that emphasize the aeronautical theme of company. Additionally, this visual language solidifies the brand's identity by blending precision with creativity.
Process
I created the Penumbra Brewery logo to reflect the phenomenon of a partial lunar eclipse. The sample sketches below show possible logos I tested while creating the logo. Ultimately, I decided on Fredericka the Great as the logo typeface for its sketched appearance and incorporated a crescent moon.
